Examination
- Two Unit Tests/Formative Examinations and Two Semester Examinations/Summative Examinations will be held in the course of the year.
- Pupils absenting from the examinations without grave reasons will be considered as having failed. Pupils absenting from any examination including P. T. will not be re-examined.
- In order to be eligible for appearing for the Second Semester Examination/ the pupils.
- Must have paid all fees and dues by the 15th of March.
- Must have returned all the books taken from the Book Bank and School Library
- Must have done the extra reading prescribed for the standards.
- Must not have remained absent for more than 25% of the number of working days during the year.
- Must have preserved the calendar with all details filled therein.
- No text books, note books or other papers are to be brought into the Examination Hall.
- A pupil not carrying out the instruction given by the supervisor will be liable to be expelled from the Examination Hall.
RULES OF PROMOTION
(1) The final Results will be based on the average of the three totals i.e. Marks of !-Semester, II -Semester and the Aggregate of unit tests, orals and home work.
(2) Students of Std. IX onwards securing not less than 35% of the marks in each individual subjects shall be eligible for Promotion to a higher Standard.If necessary,the benefit of condonation of 20 Marks in three subjects can be granted. Promotion refused will not be reconsidered.
(3) There will be automatic promotion of student for Std. I to VIIIas per the Right to Education Act fulfilling the requirements as per the Act.
PROGRESS REPORT OF THE PUPILS
The Results of the Examination will be entered in the
Progress Report every time an Examination or Test is held. The Progress Report is designed to appraise Parents I Guardians of the progress and conduct of their pupils. The School authorities
will hand over this to each pupil immediately after results of the Examinations are announced. The Progress Report should be returned to the School duly signed by the parents/guardians as a token of acknowledgment of having been brought to them.
Co-operation of parents/guardians is earnestly requested and they are required to –
(1) Ensure that Reports are brought to them regularly and returned to the school authorities within three days. Pupils who do not return the Progress Reports with the signature of their parents/guardians within the specified period are liable to be sent out of the classes.
(2) Parents should go through the report card and sign after each summative examination without fail.
(3) Should take effective and suitable steps in case the pupil’s conduct and the general behaviour are reported by the school authorities to be unsatisfactory.
(4) See that the pupils do their allotted homework & prepare their lesson regularly by devoting as much time as possible.
