RULES OF PROMOTION

(1) The final Results will be based on the average of the three totals i.e. Marks of I-Semester, II -Semester and the Aggregate of unit tests, orals and home work.

(2) Students of Std. IX onwards securing not less than 35% of the marks in each individual subjects shall be eligible for Promotion to a higher Standard. If necessary, the benefit of condonation of 20 Marks in three subjects can be granted Promotion refused will not be reconsidered

(3) There will be automatic promotion of student for Std. I to VIII as per the Right to Education Act fulfilling the requirements as per the Act.

GENERAL RULES

1. PARENTS / GUARDIANS SHOULD NOTE THAT NO NON-VEGETARIAN OR TOBACCO ITEMS SHOULD BE BROUGHT TO THE SCHOOL

2. EVERY PUPIL MUST POSSESS A COPY OF THE SCHOOL CALENDER WHICH MUST BE BROUGHT DAILY TO THE CLASS. NO PUPIL IS ALLOWED TO TEAR ANY PAGE FROM THE CALENDAR OR HE / SHE IS PERMITTED TO USE IT AS A ROUGH EXERCISE BOOK.

3. EVERY PUPIL SHOULD BRING THE REQUIRED BOOKS FOR THE DAY AS PER THE TIME TABLE. PUPILS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO BRING ANY OTHER BOOKS, MAGAZINES NEWS PAPERS, PERIODICALS OR SIMILAR ARTICLES INTO THE CLASS

4. PUPILS ARE STRICTLY FORBIDDEN TO SPEAK IN ANY LANGUAGE OTHER THAN ENGLISH IN THE SCHOOL PREMISES AND ARE ADVISED TO SPEAK IN ENGLISH EVEN AFTER SCHOOL HOURS.

5. A t least three hours must be spent at home daily for study. The homework assigned must be done daily and brought to the school.

6. Parents/guardians must check the calendar daily. They must supervise their ward’s home assignments and day to day studies regularly.

7. All should be particularly careful not to litter in the school premises. They should use the baskets and bins specially provided for this purpose

8. Pupils from one class are not allowed to be in the other class room during the recess time. 

9. Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, late coming, disobedience or conduct disrupting to the discipline of the school will be seriously dealt with. All pupils are responsible to the school authorities for their behaviour inside the school

10. Any damage done to the school property whether inside or outside the schoo! premises will have to be made proper by those responsible for it or by their parents or guardians. The decision of the school authorities regarding compensation payable to the school will be final. 

11. Only such students of standard X whose conduct record of work and performance in all Tests and examinations during the year are considered satisfactory by the Principal and who have paid up their fees including the month of May will be sent for the S.S.C. Examinations

12. Medical inspection of the students will be held annually by experienced male and female doctors. The doctor issues report of each students and this is sent to the parents / guardians follow – up. 

13. Pupils suffering from diseases, declared infectious by the health authorities and which require segregation will not be permitted to attend school without being certified as cured by the doctor.

14. Parents are requested not to criticize any teacher or any policy of the school in front of the students in case of doubt they should approach the principal.

15. Parents should not provide any cash to the student in order to see that they do not buy any unhealthy food stuff from outside. toachers are not permitted

16. Presents in cash or in kind to the teachers are not Collection of funds for any reason whatsoever or conducting chit within the school premises is also prohibited without written approval from the Principal.

17. Engagement of private tuitions may not be desirable or advantageous in every case to make up the deficiency of any pupil, as school teachers are not permitted to take up private tuitions without obtaining permission from the school authorities. Parents / Guardians are requested to assure themselves that tutors engaged by them have obtained the necessary permission from their school authorities. Non- compliance with this rule will be taken seriously

18. Promotions are not decided by the Principal or supervisor alone. The rules laid down by the education department are strictly followed and applied to the students by the Academic Council and the Promotion Committee while deciding the promotions. Therefore the decision is final and under nc circumstances it will be reconsidered or altered. As such direct or indirect approach for reconsideration of promotion wil be treated as serious. RTE Act is applicable for students of Std. I to VIII.

19. The school authorities maintain a record of addresses of parents and guardians in the school office and in their own interest they are requested to promptly intimate changes if any from time to time.

20. The attention of Parents/ Guardians is particularly invited to the fact that the schoo! management wil be entitled to modify or after all or any of these rules at any time. 

21. Complaints, if any should be made to the Principal or supervisor and to the class-teachers or subject teachers. A complaint box is placed in the school office for parent’s complaints and suggestions

22. Constructive suggestion from Parents/Guardians/Executive committee members of PTA are welcome and will be duly considered. The suggestion box is also placed at the counter.

23. Railway concession for the summer vacations will be issued up to first week of May.
